Version 0 of 1.

The fate of Richard III's bones could become clearer with the result of a legal challenge due to be given later.

His remains were uncovered in a Leicester car park in September 2012 and the nearby cathedral was lined up for his tomb.

But a group claiming descent from the king's wider family, were granted a judicial review, arguing more views should have been taken into account.

The judges are due to give a decision in the High Court at about 10:00 BST.

The group, known as the Plantagenet Alliance, wants Richard to be buried in York, where he spent much of his childhood and adult life.

Both the Leicester authorities and the Alliance said they were looking forward to resolving the issue.
