Missing Phoebe Lock may be with older boy, police say Missing Somerset girl found 'safe and well' in Wiltshire
(about 20 hours later)
Police have said they are "growing increasingly concerned" for the welfare of a 13-year-old girl who may have disappeared with an older boy. A 13-year-old girl missing from her Somerset home for three days has been found "safe and well" in Wiltshire, police have said.
Phoebe Lock was last seen at her home in Leigh-on-Mendip, Somerset, at 21:00 BST on Wednesday. The teenager was last seen at her home in Leigh-on-Mendip at 21:00 BST on Wednesday. She was located in Swindon on Saturday evening.
She is described as white, 5ft 8in, with long light brown hair and purple-framed glasses. A man who was with the girl was arrested on suspicion of child abduction.
Det Insp Chris Palmer said Phoebe met the boy recently and could now be "anywhere in the country". Police thanked the public and said she would be reunited with her family.
"Her family are understandably very worried and we are keeping them updated on the progress of our investigation," he added.
"My message to Phoebe is 'you aren't in any trouble, we just want you to get in touch with us, or a member of your family, as soon as you can to let us know you are okay'."
Mr Palmer appealed for anyone with information to contact Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
