Martlesham Heath murder suspect arrested Martlesham Heath death: Man charged with murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at her Suffolk home. A man has been charged with murder after the body of a 39-year-old woman was found at her Suffolk home.
A cordon has been put up around the property in Lark Rise, Martlesham Heath, after the body was found at about 21:00 BST on Friday. Police found the body of Jane Bartholomew at her Martlesham Heath home at about 21:00 BST on Friday.
Before the body was found, police were called to an address in Tunstall Green near Woodbridge after paramedics reported a man with wrist injuries. A post-mortem examination found she died of head injuries.
The man, 42, was taken to hospital for treatment before he was arrested. Detectives have charged 42-year-old Scott Ellis, of Tunstall Green, near Woodbridge, with her murder. He will appear in custody at Ipswich Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The property in Tunstall Green has also been cordoned off by police.
A post-mortem examination will take place later.
Suffolk Police asked anyone with information about the woman's death to contact them.
