A 41-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman in County Antrim. A 41-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering his partner in County Antrim.
It is understood 32-year-old Denise Dunlop was stabbed several times in her home in Ballymena on Sunday morning. Denise Dunlop, 32, died at her home in Centuripe Avenue, Ballymena, early on Sunday. It is understood she had been stabbed a number of times.
It happened at Centuripe Avenue on the site of the former St Patrick's Barracks. Richard McAuley, of Townhill Road in Portglenone, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.
The man, who was arrested on Sunday, is expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court later on Monday morning. He was remanded in custody to appear in court again on 10 July.
During the brief hearing, a detective said he believed he could connect the accused to the charge.
