Loud U-S-A chants at the last corner quickly replaced by swearing at Zusi. The crowd has turned on some players pretty vocally. — Fritz Hahn (@fritzhahn) June 26, 2014

But the Americans seem ready to handle them. Long lines at Beer Garden Dan Steinberg is at Dupont Circle where quite the crowd has gathered a half-hour before game time.

From Adam Kilgore: As doors opened at 11am, a three-wide line formed at the door, slinked all the way down G and curled around the corner, extending halfway down 13th. Patrons scrambled for seats and spots at the bar — Zusis and Altidores and Dempseys, frat bros with flags draped on their shoulders or tied around their foreheads, girls with scarves and cowboy boots, ordering up buckets of Bud and three-dollar PBR. A cheer went up at 11:11 when Tim Howard flashed on the TVs. Still 49 minutes to game time.
