Overpass in Brazil collapses on bus in World Cup host city of Belo Horizonte - casualties reported An overpass in Brazil has collapsed on a bus in the World Cup host city of Belo Horizonte, killing at least one person, local media report.
More to follow. The bridge was under construction and fell onto a busy highway.
Aerial TV footage showed what appeared to be a school bus crushed under part of the bridge. It is not yet clear how many people may be trapped.
The city, located in the south-east of the country, is due to host one of the World Cup semi-final matches next week.
Emergency services are at the scene.
Brazil's GloboNews 24-hour news channel reports that at least 10 people were injured in the incident.
