Two adults have died after being struck by a freight train at a footpath crossing just outside Lincoln. | |
The incident occurred just before midday on Wednesday at a user-worked level crossing to the east of the city. The train was heading for Immingham docks on Humberside. | |
British Transport police said the incident in the village of Cherry Willingham was reported at 11.57am and Lincolnshire police and East Midlands ambulance service also rushed to the scene. | |
