Firefighters have been called to an incident involving a microlight glider which has reportedly crashed into a tree. A pilot escaped unscathed after his glider crashed into a tree in Denbighshire.
Three crews have gone to the scene at Llangollen, said North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. The incident happened at Llangollen airfield, Gwernant, on Friday just after 19:35 BST.
The emergency was raised at 19:38 BST. Firefighters helped the pilot over a nearby embankment and he has been checked over by paramedics.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the glider is still in the tree. Firefighters have since left the scene.
Three crews from Llangollen, Wrexham and Chirk had been sent out after an initial report that a microlight had crashed.
