Woman held over death of toddler in Grimsby

A 30-year-old woman is in custody following the death of a toddler in North East Lincolnshire.

The two-year-old boy was taken to the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital at about 16:00 BST on Wednesday from an address in Tunnard Street, Grimsby.

Humberside Police said a post-mortem examination would take place shortly to establish the cause of death.

The woman is currently being questioned as part of the investigation and inquiries are ongoing.
