The single loop course takes in a huge swathe of countryside in North Lanarkshire and cuts across East Dunbartonshire before coming back to Glasgow via the city's east end. The women's race was won by New Zealand's Linda Villumsen. Scotland's Katie Archibald and Lucy Coldwell came fifth and eighth respectively.
A large number of road closures across these three local authority areas will be in effect from Thursday morning. The single loop course covers a large part of North Lanarkshire and cuts across East Dunbartonshire back towards Glasgow via the city's east end.
