An investigation has been launched after Edinburgh Airport had to close its runway following a crash between two vehicles.An investigation has been launched after Edinburgh Airport had to close its runway following a crash between two vehicles.
The vehicles had been driving out to attend a plane which had suffered a possible bird strike when they crashed on the runway. The vehicles had been driving to check the runway, after a plane had reported a bird strike, when they crashed.
