Investigations are continuing into an armed siege in the penthouse restaurant of Wales' tallest building.
A man has been sectioned under the mental health following an alleged armed siege in Wales' tallest building.
It is alleged a gunman took another male diner hostage at the Meridian Tower, Swansea, on Friday at about 16:00 BST.
The 38-year-old was arrested after the incident on Friday at 16:00 BST in the penthouse restaurant of the Meridian Tower, Swansea.
On Saturday, South Wales Police confirmed a man was still in custody and was being questioned.

Officers used a Taser to subdue the man at the Grape and Olive restaurant following a two-hour stand off.

The Grape and Olive restaurant was busy on Friday, with one group celebrating a birthday, when a man carrying a handgun entered t via the lift and took one diner hostage.
Staff quickly emptied the restaurant, helping some customers down the stairs, and armed police surrounded the 90m (300ft) building.
Spanish football team Villarreal have been staying opposite the building in the Marriott hotel ahead of their pre-season friendly against Swansea City on Saturday.
Witness Jason Hole, who lives on the eighth floor, was stopped from leaving by officers.
"I just came down to go outside the flat and we were told to go upstairs and stay in our flat until it was over, so I faced the front, which is the entrance to the Grape and Olive, so I could see everything going on.
"There were people outside with balloons and stuff and you could see they were having a birthday meal but had been evacuated.
"It's not the nicest thing to happen in a place like this."
Eyewitness Mathew Wilkins said he was first aware of the incident when he heard the police helicopter overhead.
"At about quarter to five I could hear the helicopter overhead, and then five or 10 minutes later it came back again so I took a video of it," he said.
"I saw three police cars going past and a van and I wondered if the city would be put into lockdown," he said.
"I was looking up and down to see if the traffic was moving and then I saw what I thought was an armed response vehicle flying towards the scene."
The tower has become a landmark on the city's skyline since completion in 2009.
The Grape and Olive restaurant on the top three floors has panoramic views over the city and out across the Bristol Channel and Brecon Beacons.
The restaurant tweeted it would reopen at lunchtime on Saturday.
