Inquiry over woman's M4 slip road death continues

An police investigation into the death of a woman who was struck by a lorry on a motorway slip road near Swansea on Thursday is continuing.

The woman suffered fatal injuries in the incident at Llangyfelach on the eastbound M4 at around 04:00 BST.

The carriageway was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.

Morning commuters faced delays of up to an hour as a five-mile tail back built up and traffic was diverted.
