Man arrested over dogs row death in Bexhill

A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing a dog walker during a row over their pets.

Peter Morley, 74, was walking his small brown terrier, Bella, in Bexhill when she was attacked by two Staffordshire bull terriers on 20 July.

He fell to the ground and suffered a head injury while arguing with the owner of the dogs, in Turkey Road.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and bailed until 9 November.
