Gas engineers have begun restoring supplies to about 200 properties in Blaenau Gwent after 750 homes suffered cuts following a water leak. Gas is now being restored to most of the homes in Blaenau Gwent which have been without since Thursday following a water leak.

Wales and West Utilities said it was "cautiously optimistic" of starting to reconnect all homes within 48 hours. At 18:00 BST on Sunday, Wales and West Utilities said gas had started to be restored to about 660 of the 750 properties affected.
Leisure centres in Abertillery and Ebbw Vale are offering washing and showering facilities for people affected. It has removed more than 150,000 litres of water from 10km of network.
It said it was still continuing to remove water from low points in the system.
A spokesperson said: "This continues to be a complex operation and we will continue to work round the clock to resolve this issue as safely and as quickly as we can."
