A smaller number of protesters than anticipated have gathered in Cardiff to demonstrate against the Nato summit being held in Newport. Police say a "number" of people have been arrested in Cardiff during a demonstration against the Nato summit which is being held in Newport.
Campaigners marched down Queen Street towards Cardiff Castle where world leaders will attend a dinner on Thursday evening. BBC reporters say about 350 protesters are near Cardiff Castle where world leaders are attending a dinner.
About 200 protesters were at the castle where a huge banner has been unveiled. But while the number of campaigners in the city is lower than anticipated there have been some minor skirmishes.

Protesters booed and chanted as a cavalcade of cars flanked by police on motorbikes entered Cardiff Castle by the main gate. Mr Obama arrived by helicopter.
Many people have started to leave the area.
