One man has died in a fire in a block of flats in Bristol, Avon Fire and Rescue has said. | |
Up to 40 firefighters and eight crews tackled the blaze in Carolina House in Dove Street, Kingsdown, which began at about 11:00 BST. | |
Residents were evacuated from the building, although some are now being allowed to return to their homes. | |
Several roads in the area have been closed. | |
A fire service spokesman said the fire was now out and they were in the "early stages" of investigating the cause. | |
