The incident happened at the Northern Diamond store on Union Street on Tuesday 5 August. Daniel Koterbski, 35, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with theft after the incident at the Northern Diamond store on Union Street on Tuesday 5 August.
Police Scotland said a 35-year-old man had been charged in connection with the theft. He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday. Mr Koterbski was released on bail.
