A £5,000 reward has been offered by police in a bid to catch those responsible for the murder of a Liverpool teenager five years ago. Jamie Kelly, 18, was stabbed multiple times on wasteland in Kirkdale in 2009 and later died in hospital. Peter Hollywood, 37, from Whitehill Close, Kirkdale, was jailed for life for his murder in 2010, but police believe others may have played a role. The reward is for anyone who provides information leading to a conviction. Det Supt David Brunskill said: "Think about what his mum Lorraine and other relatives are going through still. "They are still suffering from both the loss of Jamie and from the sense of injustice that others are enjoying their freedom while they face a lifetime of hurt." |
