Scottish referendum: First Yes result declared in Dundee

There were 93,592 votes cast in the city, with 57% favouring independence. A total of 53,620 people voted "Yes", with 39,880 saying "No". The turnout was 79% with 92 rejected ballot papers. Clackmannanshire was the first council to declare its result earlier on Friday morning with people there voting "No" by 54% to 46%. |
