A man has been arrested following the rape of a teenager in Oxford. Police investigating two rapes of teenage women in Oxford early on Saturday have arrested two men.
The 18-year-old woman was attacked in Brewer Street in the city centre at about 02:00 BST on Saturday. An 18-year-old woman was attacked in Brewer Street in the city centre, whilst a second woman, 19, was raped after being followed into a flat in Roosevelt Drive, Headington.
Thames Valley Police said a 21-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of rape on Sunday morning. He remains in custody. A 21-year-old man from Oxford, and a 41-year-old man, respectively, have been arrested for the attacks which are not linked.
A number of roads between the Westgate Shopping Centre and St Aldates were cordoned off on Saturday as forensics officers investigated the scene. Both men remain in police custody.
