Thieves steal golf carts from Clive Palmer's Sunshine Coast resort

Version 0 of 1. Joyriders stole three golf carts from Clive Palmer’s resort, sideswiping three cars, knocking over 10 wheelie bins and damaging at least one golf buggy. Police said the carts stopped at a skate park after they were taken from the Palmer United party federal MP’s resort, Palmer Coolum Resort, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast early on Friday morning. One thief was arrested about 20km away at Noosa and a damaged cart was found by the roadside. All three golf carts have been recovered but only one man was being held in custody, police said. Investigations are continuing. |
