Chetham's School of Music: Man charged in sex abuse inquiry

A man has been charged as part of an investigation into historical sexual abuse at music schools in Manchester.

Wen Zhou Li, 59, of Vale Royal Drive, Northwich, has been charged with rape and two offences of indecent assault.

The charges relate to the sexual abuse of a teenage girl between March 1996 and May 1997 when she was a pupil at Chetham's School of Music.

He is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on 16 October.
