A police spokeswoman confirmed to AAP that the man was shot by police just before 4pm (AEST) on Monday at Inala. Police were first called to a block of units in Inala about midday (AEST) on Monday and a man produced a gun, regional duty officer Inspector Richard Kroon said.
However, they couldn’t provide any other details. Police closed off the surrounding area while they tried to negotiate with the man who was sitting in a car outside the block of units in Brisbane’s south.
