"I've travelled the length and breadth of the country taking in one-way gyratories.
"There's nothing more expressive than a roundabout.
"I've seen fountains, statues, duck ponds, windmills and now we've got a battle scene.
"It just goes to show anything can go on a roundabout, and that's what makes them so special."
