In a tongue-in-cheek celebration of parody videos being made legal, mashup artists Cassetteboy have released ‘Cameron’s Conference Rap’ video in which the Prime Minister appears to declare his disgust for the poor.

Set to Eminem’s 2002 track 'Lose Yourself', the rap slices together moments from the Prime Minister’s party speeches over the years.

It was released the day a new EU law came into effect which allows  comedians to splice together or parody other people’s work without risking legal action.

The Cassetteboy team wrote under the video, which has already been watched over 200,000,: “Seriously though Dave, thanks for legalising parody videos.”

In the 2 minute video Mr Cameron appears to rap: “I’m hardcore and I know the score, I am disgusted by the poor. My chums matter more because we are the law, I’ve made sure we’re ready for class war."

It goes on: “Taking money from the man who works long hours, giving power to the tycoon in the glass tower.

“Everybody knows if you work in a shop we won’t help you, and do you know what? People rising from the bottom to the top has got to stop.”

Coincidentally, the video also pokes fun at the Tories’ NHS policy the same day the Prime Minister attempted to make the issue a flagship policy, the rap continues: “Let me get this off my chest, saying yes – we are selling the NHS.”

“The last thing this country needs is us, the Conservatives, worse than the alternative," the Prime Minister say in the clip.

The video comes after David Cameron accidentally told the Conservative Party conference that the party “resents”, instead of “represents”, the poor.
