'I was looking for Isis terrorists,' woman allegedly caught stealing from cars tells police

Version 0 of 1. A woman in America allegedly caught stealing sunglasses from cars parked outside her children’s school told police she was searching for Isis terrorists. Lisa Carol Roche, 41, was arrested on Friday despite her claims by officers from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department in Mississippi. She had been seen stealing the sunglasses and other personal items from vehicles in the car park of East Central High School in the town of Hurley, the Sun Herald reported. Roche has been charged with the US offence of commercial burglary of an automobile and could face five years in prison and a hefty fine if convicted. She has previously been arrested for careless driving, embezzlement and burglary, police said. Roche was taken to Jackson County prison until a court hearing expected next week. Isis militants, who are waging a bloody war in Syria and Iraq to establish an Islamic caliphate, have threatened retribution on the US for conducting air strikes. |
