Fire crews tackle blaze at houses

Eight fire applicances have been fighting a blaze at premises in a County Antrim seaside town.

The crews were called to tackle fires at a row of four-storey houses on Quay Road in Ballycastle.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said the occupants of one house had been asked to leave as a precaution.

Three of the seven houses were reported to be on fire. It is not yet known how the fire started.
