They include rape, by compelling a 13-year-old girl to have sex with a number of different men, and the sexual assault of an 11-year-old boy. He was given a 22-year sentence, while his wife Iris was jailed for 10 years.

They also sexually assaulted an 11-year-old boy

Judge John Rogers QC also made a sexual offences prevention order - which means they must never again approach their victims.
Derek Way was convicted of 18 charges - four of indecent assault upon the boy, one charge of attempted serious sexual assault, two charges of inciting the boy to have sex with the girl, seven charges of indecent assault upon the girl, and four rape charges by compelling her to have sex with other men.
Iris Way, 61, was convicted of nine charges - two of indecently assaulting the boy, one charge of attempted serious sexual assault, two of inciting the boy to have sex with the girl, and four charges of indecent assault upon the girl.
The couple had denied all the charges during the two-week trial, claiming the evidence from the boy and girl, now in their 30s, had been made up.The couple had denied all the charges during the two-week trial, claiming the evidence from the boy and girl, now in their 30s, had been made up.
John Philpotts, prosecuting, said the girl had come under Way's control and he forced her to have sex against her will with a number of different men whom he met at a pub or who attended sex parties at his home. More to follow.
Mr Philpotts said the boy was abused "in a most foul way" by Way, with the willing and enthusiastic support of his wife.
Duncan Bould and Simon Mintz, defending, said the couple denied they had confessed about their past when confronted by the boy when he was adult.
'Distressing'
Way was convicted of 18 charges, four of indecent assault upon the boy, one of a further serious sexual offence, two charges of inciting the boy to have sex with the girl, seven charges of indecent assault upon the girl, and four rape charges by compelling her to have sex with other men.
Iris Way was convicted of nine charges: Two of indecently assaulting the boy, one charge of an attempted serious sexual assault , two of inciting the boy to have sex with the girl, and four charges of indecent assault of the girl.

He said: "Cases of this kind are never easy."
