After human remains were spotted in salt marshes on the island, a full search of the area was done and further bones were found.

The last definitive sighting of Ms Millington was on 21 November when she visited a housing officer in Westcliff. Money was drawn out of her bank account on that day.

"We are keeping all lines of inquiry open. Anyone with any information, no matter how small, could help us to discover how Angela died and bring her justice. Detectives have been speaking to Ms Millington's family and people who knew her to try to find out how and when she died.
"Her mobile phone has not been used since the end of November and we have not found any of her clothing or belongings," Det Ch Insp Werrett said.
