Christmas travellers are facing further problems as thick fog continues to cover much of southern England. Thick fog is causing problems for air passengers and drivers in England, particularly in southern areas.
Heathrow flights have been disrupted - with 23 cancelled - and there is poor visibility on several major roads.
Fog has affected a large stretch of the M1 motorway between junctions 19 and 21, and in Manchester part of the M62 and all of the M60 are covered by fog.

Problems in Kent include fog on the M2, M20 and M25. There is also fog between junction 11 and 14 of the M5.
