Police said a black Vauxhall Astra mounted the pavement and struck them in Sandbank Street at about 19:40. | |
The driver failed to stop and the car was later found abandoned nearby on Lochburn Street. | |
Officers remained at the scene and were carrying out investigations. They have appealed for witnesses to come forward. | |
