BBC home affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said the men were arrested two days before the Remembrance Sunday weekend. The case of Mr Sayed, 21, from Hounslow, Mr Syed, 19, from High Wycombe, and Mr Hamayoon, 27, from Hayes, is expected to be referred by the magistrates to a crown court.
He said they needed to be charged or freed before Thursday night, as the maximum time during which terrorism suspects can be held without charge is two weeks. The men were arrested two days before the Remembrance Sunday weekend and they were charged earlier on Thursday - the 14th and final day that they could be held by police under terrorism legislation.
