One person has died and at least seven other have been injured after balcony collapsed in west London. Two men have died and at least six other people have been injured after a balcony collapsed in west London.

At least eight people were treated at the scene, with one man dying and another person being taken to hospital. The men who died were believed to be workmen, according to Scotland Yard.

Police are in the process of identifying the men's next of kin while an investigation is underway to establish the circumstances.
A LAS spokesman said: "Sadly, a man died at the scene.
"We sent three ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, the hazardous response team and a London air ambulance.
"We treated eight people. Every effort was made to resuscitate a patient.
"Another man was taken to St Mary's Hospital."
The Health and Safety Executive and the local authority have been informed.
