A supermarket in west Wales has been forced to close petrol pumps over contamination concerns. Suspected contaminated petrol sold at two west Wales supermarkets came from the Murco refinery in Milford Haven.
Some customers who bought petrol from Morrisons in Parc Pensarn, Carmarthen, got just 100m before breaking down . Petrol at Morrisons stations in Carmarthen and Llanelli were affected.
A supermarket spokeswoman said two pumps showed a "water reading". A spokeswoman said: "Morrisons sources its unleaded petrol from the Milford Haven refinery, which has confirmed to us that a batch of fuel may have been contaminated with water."
She added: "We advise any motorist who thinks their car has been affected not to start or drive their vehicle. Please can they contact us with their details." Any motorist who thinks their car has been affected is told not to start their vehicle and contact Morrisons.
Sales of unleaded petrol have been halted at the two stations.

The spokeswoman added: "So far this morning a number of car owners have reported problems. The spokeswoman added: "We apologise to those motorists affected and are doing everything we can to support them.
