Five people arrested by detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in east Belfast at the weekend have been released.

James Stitt, 21, died after being attacked in Castlereagh Place on Saturday.

Two women and three men who were being questioned over the incident have been freed pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

Police have said they are following a definite line of inquiry.
