A further three arrests have been made in connection with the alleged abduction of a Glasgow businessman from his home in September. Three men are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with the alleged abduction of a businessman from his home.
Javed Mukhtar had been praying in his Pollokshaws home when he was seized. Grandfather Javed Mukhtar, 58, was found by police in Manchester last Tuesday, three weeks after his disappearance from Pollokshaws.

A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said the arrests were a result of an extensive four week operation conducted by Strathclyde and supported by officers from other forces. They appeared in private, made no plea or declaration and were remanded in custody.
The three men are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
