Man critical after takeaway attack in Portrush

A man has been left critically injured after he was attacked in a takeaway in Portrush, County Antrim.

It happened at Dunluce Avenue at about 01:50 GMT on Thursday.

Police believe the 31-year-old was assaulted by three men and two women. His condition was described as critical but stable.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
