A man who was shot dead when a gunman opened fire as he sat in a stationary car in Sheffield has been named. Tributes have been paid to a man who was shot dead while sitting in a stationary car in Sheffield.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Thomas, who was from the Waterthorpe area of Sheffield, had died of gun shot injuries. Mr Thomas's family described the shooting as an "act of cowardice" and appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
No arrests have yet been made but police said it was pursuing "a number of lines of enquiry". In a statement, the family said: "Jordan truly was full of life, with his cheeky grin and quick wit. He was a charmer, anyone luckily enough to have met Jordan will attest to this and those that have met him truly did love him."
