Pair killed in Boxing Day car crash in Croydon

A man and a teenage girl have been killed in a car crash in Croydon.

The 53-year-old man and 15-year-old girl, who are believed to be related, were in a Renault Megane which crashed with a Kia Cee'd in Purley Way.

Emergency services were called to the collision at about 15:00 GMT. The pair were pronounced dead at the scene.

Next-of-kin are being informed and a post-mortem examination will be held.
