West Belfast fire: Sports and social club blaze treated as arson by police

A sports and social club in west Belfast has been gutted in a suspected arson attack.

Police received a report that the building on Glen Road was on fire shortly after 21:00 GMT on Friday.

They said the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze but the building was "gutted".

Police said they were investigating the circumstances of the fire, but believed it was started deliberately.
