Version 0 of 1.

Al Qaeda bombed an office of the Shiite Houthi rebels south of the capital on Sunday, killing six Houthis and wounding 31, officials said. The police said the bombing in Dhamar Province, about 60 miles south of the capital, Sana, hit a local headquarters of the Houthi movement, which has seized a string of Yemeni cities, including the capital. Al Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen claimed responsibility in a statement posted on its Twitter account. The Houthis, backed by former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, are one of the strongest Yemeni factions locked in a power struggle with President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi. They say they are taking on Al Qaeda and fighting corruption. Their critics view them as a proxy for Iran, though the rebels deny this.
