The North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said although the call outs had been in isolated spots they had been widespread. The North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they had received around 24 calls regarding flooding related incidents since 2330 GMT on Wednesday.
They included Llanfair PG on Anglesey, Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire and Colwyn Bay, Conwy. In Denbighshire, crews were called at 0920 GMT on Thursday to help rescue a cow trapped in water near Rhuddlan.
Crews were also pumping out flood water from buildings and roads in Amlwch, Abergele, Bethesda, Caernarfon, Carmel, Llanfair Talhaiarn and Trefriw. In Gwynedd, the worst affected areas included Talysarn near Caernarfon where 3ft (0.9m) of water had to be pumped away.
They were anticipating more calls as people woke up and found damage. In Bethesda, crews helped to deal with flooding inside a property and a car which was trapped in water in Ogwen Bank. Victoria Terrace in Llanberis was also affected.
In Conwy, crews pumped water in Llanfairtalhaearn where the river burst its banks severely affecting the road between Conwy and Trefriw.
They were also called to deal with outside flooding near the Pen y Bont Inn, Llanrwst, at 0815 GMT.
