A number of shots have been fired north-east of Paris as police chase a car believed to contain gunmen who killed staff at Charlie Hebdo magazine. One person has reportedly been shot dead in northern France as police close in on gunmen suspected of killing staff at Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris.
Police sources reported the shooting and chase nearly 48 hours after the attack on the magazine's office, in which 12 people were killed. Several other people were wounded in the shooting in Dammartin-en-Goele, about 35km (22 miles) from the capital.
