Murder arrest after 80-year-old Sheffield woman dies

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after an 80-year-old woman was found dead in a Sheffield street.

Emergency services were called to Worrall Road, Hillsborough at 09:30 GMT on Sunday after the woman was thought to have collapsed in the road.

Worrall Road was closed while police carried out inquiries.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody being questioned by officers.
