Roads reopen after snow problems across Wales Ice and snow warning for Wales extended across the weekend.

Several cars were left stuck in snow on the A470 in north Wales after snow caused hazardous driving conditions. A yellow "be aware" alert for snow and ice across much of Wales has been extended across the weekend.
The vehicles on the Crimea Pass between A496 at Blaenau Ffestiniog and Church Street, Dolwyddelan, have since been able to move on. The Met Office says temperatures will drop below freezing overnight on Friday for most inland locations, with some snow on high ground possible.
Blizzard-like conditions were reported on the A542 Horseshoe Pass, Denbighshire, which was shut on Thursday but has reopened. Snow showers travelling east to west across Wales on Saturday and Sunday could lead to potential disruption, even at low level.
A yellow "be aware" Met Office warning is in place until 11:00 GMT on Friday. The snow alert is in force from midnight Friday until Monday evening.
For a time the the B4560 Llangynidr Mountain Road was shut between the A40 at Bwlch, Powys, along with the A465 Heads Of The Valleys Road at Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent, when it was temporarily impassable. The latest warnings follow hazardous conditions on some mountain roads in Wales in recent days.

In Rhydymain, Gwynedd, a 50-year-old man had to be airlifted to hospital after his car crashed in snowy conditions.
Six schools in Gwynedd and Anglesey also closed on Thursday due to the severe weather.
