Sorry - this page has been removed. Human body parts found inside suitcase on San Francisco sidewalk
(4 months later)
This could be because it launched early, our rights have expired, there was a legal issue, or for another reason. San Francisco police found a dismembered body when they opened a suitcase abandoned on a downtown street and then made another gruesome discovery when they uncovered more body parts nearby.
Police spokeswoman Grace Gatpandan said on Thursday that it is unclear if all the remains belong to one person. She says investigators have a rough description of a suspect but are not releasing additional details because the investigation is ongoing.
For further information, please contact: Gatpandan says officers responding to a call about a suspicious package on Wednesday afternoon opened the suitcase to find either human or animal remains. A medical examiner confirmed the body parts were human.
Identifiers such as gender and race were not immediately known, and police did not release any more details about the additional remains, including where they were found.
