Yaya Touré ▶ Internazionale

The Internazionale coach, Roberto Mancini, has expressed interest in signing the Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré this summer. Mancini, who managed Touré at City, believes the 31-year-old would be a great addition to his squad. “Yaya is one of the strongest players in the world,” he told the Italian newspaper Il Giornale. “He has been in leagues in Belgium, Russia, Spain and England. Italy is the one missing. This could be the right opportunity for him to come and try. We are building a team. There are players that change the look of a team and Yaya is one of them. Next year we could try.” PA

Mutch/Ameobi ▶ Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have signed the midfielder Jordon Mutch from Queens Park Rangers on a four-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £4.75m. The 23-year-old, who moved to QPR from Cardiff City only last summer but has found opportunities limited, will be joined at Selhurst Park by Shola Ameobi, the former Newcastle striker. Ameobi played under Palace’s manager, Alan Pardew, at Newcastle and was a free agent after leaving the Turkish club Gaziantep in December. Staff

Scott Sinclair ▶ Aston Villa

Manchester City’s winger Scott Sinclair is set to join Aston Villa on loan within the next 24 hours. It is understood he will sign until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. Sinclair has made only three starts for City since joining from Swansea in 2012. PA

Jack Cork ▶ Swansea City

Swansea are in talks to sign the Southampton midfielder Jack Cork. The 25-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Swansea hope to buy him for a reduced price. PA

Robert Huth ▶ Leicester City

Leicester are interested in bringing in the Stoke defender Robert Huth on loan. He has made only four appearances for Stoke this season and has struggled with a recent knee injury. PA
