UK immigrant voices: share your perspectives
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/feb/09/uk-immigrant-voices-share-your-perspectives Version 0 of 1. There is much written – and discussed – in the UK about immigration and with an election this year the issue will be in even sharper focus. The voices of immigrants themselves, however, are very rarely heard. The Guardian would like to find out what it’s like for immigrants living in the UK, whether you’ve lived here for several decades or arrived only last week. Did you come here from another country in Europe? For work, family or for other reasons? Or did you come from further afield, either from another part of the Commonwealth or anywhere else in the world. Perhaps you’re an asylum seeker, or awaiting an appeal? You can respond on behalf of another person, though please explain why you’re doing this. We will showcase a selection of your contributions in the Guardian’s 100 voices project, which aims to document the experiences of immigrants living in the UK. You can submit your experiences, photos and videos via GuardianWitness by clicking on the blue ‘Contribute’ button on this article. You can also use the GuardianWitness smartphone app or the new Guardian app and search for ‘GuardianWitness assignments’. If you’d prefer to share your experiences anonymously then please fill in the form below. You don’t need to supply your real name, but please do leave contact details if you’re happy for us to get in touch. You can also email us at guardian.witness@theguardian.com Reading on mobile?
