Man arrested over shooting death Man in court after shooting death

A 29-year-old man has been arrested over the death of Andrew Devlin who was shot outside a snooker club in Paisley in August. A 29-year-old man has appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court charged with murder, more than five months after a teenager was shot dead.
The 18-year-old, from the Pollok area of Glasgow, died after the shooting incident in which a 27-year-old man was also seriously injured. Andrew Devlin, 18, from Pollok, Glasgow, died in hospital after the shooting outside Suzy Q's snooker club in Stock Street, Paisley, on 3 August.
Police said the 29-year-old man was being held in custody over the incident in Stock Street on 3 August. Anthony Collins, of no fixed abode, is alleged to have shot the teenager while acting with others unknown.
He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
Mr Collins was also charged with attempting to murder Gerald O'Doherty, 27, by shooting him.
